Nourishing Resilience: Mindfulness for Real Life
Nourishing Resilience is a heartfelt 5-week mindfulness program designed to help you meet life's challenges with greater clarity, warmth, and ease. Rooted in the profound wisdom of the Buddhist tradition and enriched by contemporary insights from neuroscience and trauma-informed practices, this course offers gentle yet powerful tools to cultivate deeper emotional resilience and inner well-being.
At the heart of this journey lie the Four Immeasurables—known in Buddhism as the Brahma-Viharas:
• Karuna (Compassion): Embracing suffering with kindness and courage, transforming our relationship with our own pain and the pain of others.
• Mudita (Sympathetic Joy): Cultivating genuine happiness for the successes and joy experienced by ourselves and those around us.
• Metta (Lovingkindness): Developing unconditional friendliness and goodwill toward ourselves and all beings, softening our hearts to foster meaningful connections.
• Upeksha (Equanimity): Finding centre amidst life’s inevitable ups and downs by nurturing a calm and embodied presence.

A Bit About Me
My name is Natalie Rousseau and I will be your guide in this program. I began my practice of meditation in the late 90's when I was introduced to Zen Buddhism. Since then I have studied various approaches to meditation from Buddhist & Tantric lineages as well as modern mindfulness schools. Mindfulness & self compassion form the foundation of my own personal practice and I love to share these practices with others.
