In mindfulness, one is not only restful and happy but alert and awake. Meditation is not evasion; it is a serene encounter with reality. || Thich Nhat Hanh
Nourishing Resilience is a 5 week mindfulness program open to anyone who is interested in cultivating a personal practice of meditation that is aimed at supporting them in moving through life with greater awareness and ease.
In this program, we will draw on insights from the Buddhist tradition along with modern understandings of neuroscience and nervous system health. In particular, we will be exploring the Buddhist concept of the Four Immeasurables, or the Brahma-Vihara, as states of being that support inner resilience and well-being.

A Bit About Me
My name is Natalie Rousseau and I will be your guide in this program. I began my practice of meditation in the late 90's when I was introduced to Zen Buddhism. Since then I have studied various approaches to meditation from Buddhist & Tantric lineages as well as modern mindfulness schools. Mindfulness & self compassion form the foundation of my own personal practice and I love to share these practices with others.
